Jason Xavier Salas

Jason Xavier Salas, age 52, left this earth to be with our Mother and Father, John and Lucia Salas and brother James DeLuna. He is now resting in the arms of the angels healed and at peace. Jason, a lifelong resident of Dallas, Texas passed on August 9, 2019. He is survived by his son, Jason, Jr., and beloved stepchildren, Mario, Priscilla, Zachary, Jose, Alyssa, and Christine. Also, survived by his siblings and their spouses, John and Linda Salas, Alice Salas, Arthur and Angie Salas, Joe Salas, Liz and Mel Renfro, and Belen and John Brisco, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Jason, the youngest of eight siblings, was loving and kind, big in stature with a heart of gold. Jason's education and training included Peer Education Certification Training, CNA Nurses Training and Computer Drafting. Jason had a talent for working with his hands and earned his living through home remodeling and repair. Gifted with the art of writing and public speaking, his ministry was serving others. His love for the Lord and for sharing that love was his greatest attribute. His smile and laugh was contagious. In spite of his own fight with depression and pain, Jason always sought to encourage and live his life for others. With all our love and until we meet again, Jason, we love you. You will always be our baby brother. Go rest high on that mountain. Your work on earth is done. Amen. Thank you for celebrating our brother's life with us. May God's blessing be upon you.
